She will continue her professional education at North Carolina State University's 5th-year Architecture Program with her second Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

Deacon Jaylon X. Boyd

University of North Carolina-Pembroke

Deacon Jaylon Boyd graduated from the University of North Carolina-Pembroke with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He will continue his professional education at Southern New Hampshire University's Master's Program in Sports Management. In addition, he will receive a Certificate in Sports Administration, Marketing, Media, and Coaching.

North Carolina Wesleyan University

Sis. Iyanna Mann graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts. She will continue her professional education at North Carolina Wesleyan University Master's Program in Strategic Leadership. Iyanna was accepted into Fashion School and will receive her Master's in Fine Arts in Fashion Design.

    This annual outing is every year for everyone of all ages to enjoy food, fun, and fellowship with our New Ransom Church Family. It is an excellent opportunity to reconnect, relax, and share the wonder of God's magnificent creation. It is also a time to be in the midst of our community, letting our light shine and showing that you can still have fun being Holy and in Christ.

    This event brings our youth and young adults together to spend quality time with one another and create a memorable experience while they display their unique talents without any pressure. This experience allows them to listen to gospel music they have made individually or with each other while enjoying tasty treats and non-alcoholic drinks.

        Today's Leaders always preparing for Life's next chapter
    The young people in COP believed the Holy Ghost would visit their group in a powerful way. They collectively gave up using social media and spent time fasting, praying, and supporting each other during the week. Soon after, more than 7 young adults received the Holy Ghost. Today, those who follow in the steps of the first COP members must accept the plan of salvation and the requirements to be “youth of standard and promise.” Our young leaders today are often reminded: “God kept his promise now you must keep yours.”

    Children of Promise, or COP, was a vision given to Bishop Warren R. Palmer, Sr. during a youth message preached in 2014. The Lord spoke the word that our children are the “The Children of Promise,” a promise that first began on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2:38-39: “Then Peter said unto them, ‘Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.’”
